PostFliq vs Buffer, SocialPilot & Metricool: Agency Pricing Compared
An affordable social media management tool is one that covers the client work you actually sell. A low starting price tells you little until you count connected accounts, client brands, teammates, and the review process.
RickyTechs developed PostFliq, so this comparison comes from its developer. We recommend it for independent social media managers and boutique agencies whose requirements match its workflow. Below is a documented price comparison, checked October 18, 2026, rather than a claim of independent hands-on testing or feature equivalence.
The practical question is specific: what would selected plans cost for ten client brands, thirty connected accounts, and collaboration with client feedback? PostFliq has a strong subscription-price advantage in that example. The correct choice still depends on the account types, permissions, reports, and approval policy you need.
Define the roster before comparing prices
For this example, each of ten client brands has three destinations: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. That is thirty connected social accounts in total. Assume the manager needs a shared working process and client review, rather than a solo publishing plan alone.
A brand and a channel are different units. PostFliq Pro includes ten brand spaces and thirty channels shared across them. Metricool organizes capacity by brands, with one profile per network per brand. Buffer bills by connected channel. SocialPilot prices account bundles with account add-ons. Counting those units consistently is more useful than comparing four headline prices.
This example prices capacity; it does not certify every connection. In particular, PostFliq currently lists LinkedIn company-page publishing and Threads as under verification. Check the intended account types and formats before making a move. If your clients require LinkedIn company pages today, that limitation can outweigh the quoted price advantage.
Monthly subscription comparison for 30 accounts
The figures below use published USD monthly billing before tax, excluding temporary promotions. Annual cost means twelve payments at that monthly rate, not a discounted annual contract. Selected configurations include collaboration or client-review capabilities, but their permissions, user allowances, reporting, and network coverage differ.
| Selected configuration | Monthly | Twelve months | Annual difference from PostFliq |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostFliq Pro: 10 brands, 30 shared channels | $19.99 | $239.88 | — |
| Metricool Advanced: capacity for 15 brands | $67.00 | $804.00 | $564.12 |
| SocialPilot Premium: 25 accounts plus 5 add-ons | $120.00 | $1,440.00 | $1,200.12 |
| Buffer Team: 30 channels, volume discounts applied | $195.00 | $2,340.00 | $2,100.12 |
For this defined workload, PostFliq's subscription is 70.16% lower than the selected Metricool configuration, 83.34% lower than SocialPilot, and 89.75% lower than Buffer. These percentages describe subscription costs only. They do not measure staff time, switching effort, revenue, or the relative quality of the products.
How the numbers were calculated
PostFliq's public plan catalog lists Pro at 1,999 cents monthly. Twelve monthly payments total $239.88. Its thirty channels are a shared allowance, and its three invited teammates are additional to the owner.
Metricool's pricing page lists Advanced monthly in USD at $67 for up to fifteen brands. Advanced includes team/client management and approvals. The annualized monthly subscription is $67 × 12 = $804; the difference is $804 − $239.88 = $564.12. A lower tier may fit a different workflow.
SocialPilot's published plans list Premium at $100 monthly for twenty-five accounts, with extra accounts at $4 monthly each. Adding five costs $20, producing $120 monthly and $1,440 over twelve months. The resulting difference is $1,200.12. Premium includes client approval and a larger user allowance than PostFliq Pro.
Buffer's official pricing documentation gives Team monthly rates in channel bands. Thirty channels cost ten at $12, fifteen at $4, and five at $3: $120 + $60 + $15 = $195 monthly. Twelve payments total $2,340, a difference of $2,100.12. Using $12 for every channel would overstate Buffer's cost by ignoring the discounts.

Where PostFliq makes a strong case
PostFliq's position is useful client-work capacity in one accessible bundle. Pro combines separate brands, guest review, teammate access, publishing, analytics, RSS sourcing, and AI allowances at $19.99 monthly. It includes 500 AI text uses and 50 AI images each month, with an unlimited scheduled-post allowance subject to account and network constraints.
That can be attractive to a manager serving a small roster who wants the client's context and next action close together. The PostFliq agency workflow connects preparation, feedback, scheduling, and follow-up. Its multiple-account guide explains the brand structure.
Scheduling, AI assistance, and approvals are not exclusive inventions. Our recommendation rests on how the bundle fits this audience and budget, rather than a claim that competing products cannot perform those tasks.
Compare the approval process, not just the checkbox
PostFliq Pro provides expiring guest review links. A client can respond without a teammate seat; editing the reviewed draft invalidates its earlier review. The owner retains control of scheduling and publication.
That is convenient for collecting straightforward feedback. It is not a mandatory approval gate that prevents an owner from publishing without sign-off. If your service agreement requires enforced permissions or multiple approval stages, test the selected tool's exact controls before treating the review features as interchangeable.
PostFliq's client review workflow documents what the link grants, how long it lasts, and what changes invalidate it. The same level of detail should guide your evaluation of another vendor.
Reporting and reliability can decide the purchase
A lower subscription is useful only if the software supports the service your clients expect. Write down the measurements you must deliver, their time windows, export requirements, and the account types that supply them. An analytics feature label does not establish complete coverage.
PostFliq's paid reporting keeps missing measurements distinct from zero. Its destination-level publishing results help a manager investigate a failed destination without deliberately reposting successful ones. Neither design guarantees network uptime or every native metric. Test the analytics coverage and the publishing recovery process with representative work.
A specialist reporting requirement, larger team, established approval policy, or unsupported destination can make another product the better choice. Include those requirements in the decision before calculating savings.
PostFliq is not universally the cheapest option
The market contains lower-priced offerings. Schedchie advertises unlimited accounts and publishing at €7.99 monthly, with a separate team tier and an X add-on. That is a different currency and configuration; it does not establish a like-for-like client-work comparison. It does show why a universal cheapest claim would be misleading.
For a person managing only their own profiles, PostFliq Free or Starter may be sufficient. Free includes one brand, two channels, and fifteen scheduled publications monthly. Starter lists at $9.99 for two brands and six channels, with analytics and AI allowances but without Pro guest review or invited teammates. Choose the workflow you need before paying for the larger bundle.
Run a small pilot before moving ten clients
Use the same acceptance steps for each candidate:
- Connect the actual account type and publish a representative format.
- Prepare a client draft, collect a correction, and check what a later edit does to its approval.
- Confirm the owner and teammate can see and perform only the work you intend.
- Inspect each publishing destination and the recovery path for a failure.
- Build the report you have promised the client and check missing data explicitly.
- Reprice the complete roster, including required accounts, users, and add-ons.
If PostFliq covers those requirements, its fixed Pro bundle offers a compelling price for the defined small-agency setup. Start one brand in PostFliq and move the rest after the complete routine works.
